In April 1995, Mr. Khemchand Bhulchand Kewlani, a Seth of the Kewlani family, had his three generations in the textile commission business, where his son Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani was of 16 years only when he made his first move to a textile
agency and founded Group of Kewalsons

In 1995, Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani first started a textile agency from Ahmedabad he named his agency as RK Agency. At the beginning of RK Agency, the specialty that he had was that of clothes used in women’s readymade garments.

After which Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani was joined by his elder brothers Dinesh Khemchand Kewlani, Prakash Khemchand Kewlani and the rest of the Kewlani family members, Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani had very quickly caught the grip of fashion so
that he did a very good job in all kinds of fabrics used in garments which were made in Ahmedabad at that time such as cotton, PV, poplins, basic cotton prints.

In 1997, Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani started his new agency at the readymade market of Ulhasnagar in the Thane district. In the name of the MK agency, he gave the reins to his uncle’s son Bharat Kewlani, who handled the work well there. At that time, it was
the only agency from Ahmedabad to Ulhasnagar who was dealing with a manufacturer of Women Fashion related items in Ahmedabad, such as Fabric of readymade garments, suits, gowns, Chudidar suits and unstitched suits. Similarly he gradually increased his work further.

In 1998, Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani expands his branch in Chennai and got hold of the wholesale market and South’s market there. Slowly as his work grew, he strengthens his roots in Ahmedabad.
